** SEAHAWKS SIT DOWN WITH COACH GREENE **

ARE YOU COACHABLE?

That’s a question every player should ask themselves. If you’re coachable, or not coachable, there’s a
number of ways that will show which one you are labeled under.

Here are a few:

Coachable

1. Respects coaches and teammates.
2. Listens and pays attention to detail when a coach is talking. (Eye contact)
3. Being prepared for practices and games.
4. Consistently works hard and competes.
5. Never puts themselves above the team (doesn’t think they’re better than anyone)
6. A good, positive attitude.

Not Coachable

1. Selfish and only cares about him/her.
2. Whines, pouts, complains.
3. Excuses for everything.
4. Does not listen or focus when a coach speaks. (No eye contact, joking around, etc,)
5. No effort or goes through the motions.
6. Negative attitude.

If you are coachable, you’re giving yourself the best opportunity to grow as a player and develop your skills and knowledge for the game. You will improve and your game will get better.
If you’re not coachable, you’re withholding your full potential and development as a player. You won’t get better. Simple as that.

So, which one do you want to be?
